Jamie has a diverse career history, spanning sectors including education, hospitality, not-for-profit and even maritime. She has formal qualifications in HR, data protection and leadership, as well as a bachelor’s degree in Psychology, and experience in all areas of operations.
Prior to joining Acer Trust in 2021, Jamie was Director of Governance for one of the country’s largest college groups, where she gained experience in strategy development, mergers and acquisitions, and organisational change.
Jamie is passionate about the difference that an excellent education can make to young people’s aspirations and life chances. She is committed to ensuring that our operations at both school and Trust level are as efficient and effective as possible, and actively support innovation and excellence in teaching and learning, which is, after all, what we are all here for! Jamie loves working with our fantastically talented and committed Central Team and school operations staff on exciting projects such as digital systems transformation and internal communications development.
