To ensure a robust policy environment that allows for our schools’ individual contexts, the Acer Trust has three categories of policies, which are outlined here.
Trust Policy Statements are overarching statements that set out in broad terms the Trust’s approach and commitments relating to the key policy areas listed below. These statements are intended to inform school policies and procedures.
Trust Policies are policies which apply to all schools in the Trust, relating to key policy areas. The policies listed below are published to comply with statutory requirements.
School Policies are policies which apply to a specific school. These policies will have regard to the relevant Trust Policy Statements. Copies of school polices can be found on the school’s website.
