A Passion for Comprehensive Education

Mrs. Broom is a compassionate, values-driven leader who is fulfilling a long-held ambition to serve as a Headteacher within the Oxfordshire community. Speaking on her appointment, Charlotte Broom said:

"I am absolutely thrilled to be appointed as the next Headteacher of The Cooper School. It will be an absolute privilege to get to know the staff, students and families of the school, working alongside them to build the best possible future for the young people in the community."

"My career has been defined by my passion and commitment to comprehensive state education. I believe fundamentally that every child deserves a school environment where they are known, valued, and challenged to achieve their very best. Comprehensive state schools are really exciting places to be; at their best, they are truly transformative for students.

It is my commitment to work as hard as possible to achieve this for all students at The Cooper School. I can’t wait to get started!”
