I began my teaching career in 2006 and joined Glory Farm Primary School in 2012 as part of the Senior Leadership Team and was appointed Headteacher in April 2019.
I have taken on a number of responsibilities during that time but I particularly enjoy supporting the development of our curriculum and ensuring that our children have the opportunity to develop their knowledge in a variety of ways.
As Headteacher I have worked with all stakeholders to ensure that we are the best we can be. I enjoy leading the school and I am not afraid to challenge and support both staff and children to ensure we meet our aspirational targets. School improvement is vital to ensuring this and I have worked alongside School Improvement Partners from Northamptonshire, Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire to ensure this.
Communication with parents is something I am passionate about and we very successfully relaunched our Friends and Relatives of Glory Farm School (FRoGS) this year. I also invite parents into school regularly to sit down and share their experiences at Glory Farm and make suggestions on how we can continue to improve. No two days in school are ever the same and watching children grow and flourish and become passionate about their learning is a joy to be a part of – I believe in life-long learning and the role we have to play in that is of the utmost importance. Let’s make this journey together!
