I have been working in schools across Oxfordshire for the past 25 years as a teacher, Senior Leader and Headteacher.  This has been a thoroughly rewarding experience!

I have taken great pleasure from being Headteacher at Icknield Community College since September 2011.  During this time, I have also served on ASCL’s National Council and supported a number of schools across Oxfordshire as a Local Leader of Education (LLE).  In September 2022, I am looking forward to my role as Executive Headteacher at Watlington Primary School supporting the school in its next phase under a new Headteacher.

As one of the founder members of the Acer Trust, I was looking to set up, collectively, an organisation in which Headteacher colleagues across Oxfordshire could come together, regardless of phase, to collaborate for the benefit of the students in their own individual schools, as well as communities across the trust more widely.

I have very much enjoyed learning from colleagues across the Acer Trust not only at Headteacher level, but also through teaching and support staff across schools as well in the central team.
